Polyester cord provides high strength equal to nylon cord.  Polyester yarn is more economical.  Polyester cord has low moisture absorption, is rot-proof, and can be stored easily with little concern for deterioration. Polyester cord is excellent in weatherproof applications.  Polyester construction is produced in rigid (non-stretch) and stretch (elastic-like ) constructions.
